Prior to this Christine was based in Germany where she specialised in travel management providing a bespoke service for VIPs, Diplomats and Government Ministries. She is an expert in all external marketing, digital, OTA’s&NTO’s, retail agent visibility and social media. Earlier in her career Christine enjoyed a distinguished career in Marketing, Sales and PR in EMEA and Asia with Holiday Inns, Shangri-La, Omni and Mandarin Oriental where she held the position of Director Sales & Marketing at their flagship property in Hong Kong, before being promoted to Area Director Europe, Africa and Middle East for the group and being responsible for the European office based in London. MICHAEL KAILE has a long association with us following the launch of the first Ramada Renaissance in Bangkok. Subsequently he moved to Canada with Commonwealth Hospitality then opening the Waterfront Centre in downtown Vancouver for Canadian Pacific Hotels, providing an opportunity for him to join the Board of Tourism Vancouver. With Canadian Pacific Hotels he transferred firstly to Bermuda, then to the Middle East & Africa leading Fairmont’s successful entry into the region in Dubai - also overseeing hotels in Kenya as well as the opening of the Abu Dhabi property. Michael has managed the Fairmont in Whistler and more recently the renowned  Terminal City Club in Vancouver. Such experience provides more than just a solid business background but real understanding of different countries and cultures which enabled him to be such an outstanding mentor to so many of a new hotelier generation.
